There seems to be quite a bit of discussion and debate regarding the Evangelical Manifesto. Hopefully, it will be resolved relatively quickly and will not lead to more divisions and factions within the Church. For what it’s worth,

On May 7, 2008, a group of prominent Evangelical leaders published what they call “An Evangelical Manifesto”. It amounts to their definition of what it means to be Evangelical. There are three main sections to the manifesto:
